Structure of the Service Code |
|
| |
The Service Code shall be structured into chapters, which in turn are divided into articles and then one or more clauses within each article. |
|
| |
The major chapters of the Service Code shall be : |
|
| |
1. Introductory provisions
2. Public Service standards and social objectives
3. Code of conduct
4. Public Service power and rights
5. Public Service responsibility
6. Public Service integrity, values and honor
7. Public Service skills, competency and eligibility
8. Public Service equipment and support systems
9. Public Service investigations
10. Public Service operating procedures |
|
| |
While an article may belong to a particular chapter, the numbering of all articles is consecutive so that the entire body of articles of the Service Code may be read as one, with or without the chapter headings. |
