| 8.1 | The code as a consolidated accumulation of laws | |
| The unlawfulness of a deed, its punishment and other legal consequences shall be determined by the present Code alone. |

| As the Code is required to be the one and only consolidation of all Military law, no other document other than the Military Code shall be permitted to be used as the primary reference upon which the unlawfulness of a deed is assessed. | ||
