14. Non-Judicial punishment
 
  Article 90-Limit of non-judicial punishment  
90.1 Limit of non-judicial punishment  
  The lim it of non-judicial punishment are those limits set under the sentence guidelines of the code.  
  No punishment greater than these limits may be set, without the person being punished being brought before a judge or magistrate and having the right to a fair hearing, independent of the superior rank who first impossed the non-judicial punishment.  
90.2 Exceeding the non-judicial limits of punishment is itself an offence  
  A superior rank who deliberate ignores the sentence guidelines of the Military Code and sets punishment that manifestly exceeds the guidelines and limits shall be guilty of an offence against the code and liable for serious charge and possible dishonorable discharge.
