symbols of the Nation

The Smbols of the Nation |
|
| |
By this Constitution, the symbols of the nation shall be the embodiment and representation of both this Constitution and the people of the nation. |

The Flag |
|
| |
|
|
| |
The flag of the Nation shall be the ancient celtic symbol of unity, strength and trinity against a solid green background.
|
|
| |
The flag represents the historic evolution and rebirth of Ireland both in terms of its reunification and also in its common ancient heritage. |
|
| |
Secondly, the traditional celtic symbol is selected because of its many positive and strenghteninc meanings, most importantly that "together we are stronger than we are divided". |
