  Article 83-Elections  
83.1 Elections  
  A general election is any democratic election process whereby a person is selected by a group of peers to a position of authority. This applies to all levels of government, parliament and the procedure of corporate entities.  
83.2 Vote value  
  The system of voting for all general elections shall be based on the principle one citizen = one vote per ballot paper per election.  
  The action of voting more than once for an election whether under true or false identity is considered a crime.  
83.3 Voting system  
  The voting system shall be based on electing a candidate from a ballot of valid candidates based on their relative majority. The candidate that is always elected is the one with the most valid votes.  
83.4 Voting method  
  The method of voting shall be by secret ballot either by paper or secure digital means with the process independently observed and managed by a statutory authority. This authority shall be called the Electoral Commission and shall be charged with the responsibility and authority to ensure free and fair secret ballot elections are conducted across the Nation wherever a call to vote is required.  
83.5 Group voting  
 

Where a voting ballot presents a number of candidates who choose to be identified as a complete list for intention of filling the electoral vacancy, it is permissible to publish group voting formatted ballots.

These ballots require a voter only to indicate their first preference for that group to receive and equal vote for each candidate nominated under that box.

  
83.6 Nation election  
  Every six (6) years at a recurring date fixed by the Congress of the Nation, the total citizens of the Nation shall be called to vote in a new Senate and Executive Government.  
  This vote shall be compulsory of all members at eligible age for voting and who are not currently under suspension of member privileges.
